Job Description:
- Develop
And Implement Procurement Strategies, Policies, And Procedures To Ensure
Efficient And Effective Procurement Operations In Line With The Company's
Strategic Objectives.
- Lead
And Manage The Procurement Team, Providing Direction, Coaching, And Mentorship
To Optimize Team Performance And Foster A Culture Of Continuous Improvement.
- Collaborate
With Cross-functional Teams To Identify Procurement Requirements, Establish
Specifications, And Develop Procurement Plans That Align With Business Needs.
- Identify,
Evaluate, And Select Suppliers Based On Criteria Such As Price, Quality,
Delivery, And Service To Ensure Optimal Supplier Performance And Competitive
Advantage.
- Negotiate
Contracts And Terms With Suppliers To Achieve Favorable Pricing, Terms, And
Conditions, While Managing Procurement Risks And Ensuring Compliance With
Relevant Laws And Regulations.
- Monitor
Procurement Performance Metrics, Such As Cost Savings, Supplier Performance,
And Contract Compliance, And Provide Regular Reports And Insights To Senior
Management.
- Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Key Business Partners To Foster Collaborative And Strategic Partnerships That Drive Procurement Excellence.
- Stay
Abreast Of Market Trends, Innovations, And Best Practices In Procurement And
Consumer Goods Industry To Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement And
Cost Optimization.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree
preferred.
- Minimum
of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain
management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong
knowledge of procurement best practices, processes, and tools, including
strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management.
- Proven
experience in leading and managing procurement teams, with a track record of
achieving results and driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent
negotiation skills with a proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and
terms with suppliers.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data,
identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate
effectively at all levels of the organization and build relationships with
internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability
to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and
deadlines.
- Familiarity
with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to
procurement, such as procurement ethics, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption
laws.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional
certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
