Facilities Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage critical facility operations across overseas data center locations.
2. Lead and monitor changes to critical infrastructure systems, respond to emergencies, and track preventative maintenance activities.
3. Manage capacity planning for facility systems, including electrical power and cooling resources.
4. Assess and mitigate risks affecting facility system reliability and availability.
5. Initiate and execute improvement projects to enhance system efficiency, capacity, and stability.
6. Provide operational support to IT management for projects and day-to-day operations.
7. Support internal design and construction teams during new site or data hall development and commissioning.
8. Establish operational benchmarks, conduct performance analysis, and prepare reports related to infrastructure operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in critical facility operations within large-scale data centers, OR 5+ years managing major industrial or production facility operations.
3. Knowledge and hands-on experience with MEP systems including UPS, generators, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
4. Strong safety mindset and experience maintaining an efficient, compliant operational environment.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
6. Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks and lead issue resolution.
7. Ability to communicate in Chinese is required.

Contract & Benefits

1. 1-year contract role, renewable based on performance
2. Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
3. 14 days annual leave
4. 14 days sick leave
5. 60 days hospitalization leave (inclusive of sick leave)
6. Medical coverage capped at SGD 500 per year
