Job Description:
- Stay Updated On Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Logistics Operations, Transportation, Safety, Health, Environment, And Quality
- Review And Analyze Contracts, Agreements, Permits, And Licenses To Ensure Adherence To Legal Requirements
- Implement, And Maintain Effective SHEQ Management Systems
- Establish Safety, Health, Environmental, And Quality Objectives And Targets In Line With Company Goals
- Ensure Compliance With Relevant Safety, Health, Environmental, And Quality Regulations And Standards. G. Conduct Regular Inspections And Audits To Identify Areas For Improvement And Ensure Compliance
- Maintain Accurate Records, Documents, And Databases Related To Legal Compliance And SHEQ
- Prepare And Submit Reports To Internal Management, Regulatory Agencies, And Customers As Required
- Collaborate With Internal Teams, Such As Operations, HR, And Procurement, To Integrate Legal Compliance And SHEQ Requirements Into Their Processes And Activities
- Liaise With External Stakeholders, Including Regulatory Agencies, Auditors, Customers, And Suppliers, To Ensure Alignment With Requirements And Resolve Any Compliance Issues
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law up to 8 PQE, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- Experience in logistics provider is a plus
- Proven experience in legal compliance and SHEQ management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- Sound knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong understanding of safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications and databases
