Job Description:
- Develop BIM content and production documents to support the successful delivery of BIM-enabled projects.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews on internal and consultants’ models to ensure compliance with the organization’s VDC/IDD standards.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in developing and coordinating Civil & Structural, Architectural, and M&E 3D models.
- Produce accurate BIM deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication purposes.
- Prepare and manage BIM documentation and shop drawings generated directly from coordinated models.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and incorporate consultant RFI updates to maintain design intent.
- Collaborate with the project team to coordinate and produce shop drawings.
- Create and update 3D families with appropriate parameters and attributes to support 4D simulation and 5D cost management.
- Identify and escalate any design discrepancies to the BIM Engineer for resolution.
- Prepare and manage models for clash detection and coordination activities.
- Participate actively in knowledge sharing and collaboration across the BIM/VDC team.
- Serve as a technical advisor to junior modelers, providing guidance and support in modeling standards and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Possess degree in Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering, or a Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or BIM-related fields.
- Strong expertise in Civil & Structural BIM modelling, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary BIM environments.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic working knowledge of Dynamo scripting and Civil 3D.
- Experience in developing 4D construction sequencing and 5D cost-linked BIM models.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative mindset, capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects will be an added advantage.
